Junior Software Developer

About the role

PwC’s Technology Consulting practice is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join a collaborative team that tackles complex business challenges. You will work closely with consultants and clients to design, build, and optimise backend solutions that support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client and team meetings to ensure clear communication of requirements.
• Analyse business context and translate it into technical specifications.
• Develop and enhance backend components to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with senior developers to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
• Maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Strong interest in solving business problems through technology.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming languages such as Java or C#.
• Experience with SQL databases or non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
