DevOps Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform to join our Lisbon team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on analysing, migrating and optimising GCP environments for our clients, ensuring smooth transitions and robust operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing GCP setups, including projects, folders, IAM policies, networking, CI/CD pipelines and service accounts.
• Plan, execute and support migration of GCP projects between organisations while maintaining standards.
• Ensure minimal downtime and manage controlled cut‑over processes.
• Validate post‑migration outcomes such as access control and connectivity.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Document migration steps, decisions and risks clearly.
• Present migration results and key findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with production GCP exposure.
• Proven experience in cloud migration or transformation projects.
• Strong English communication skills (C1 level) and ability to work in distributed, multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – IAM, organisations, folders, projects, service accounts.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform on GCP.
• CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• GCP networking – VPC, Shared VPC, firewall rules, load balancers.
• Linux, Bash scripting and Git.
