Cybersecurity Governance Consultant

About the role

Inetum is looking for a Cybersecurity Governance Consultant to join its Lisbon office. You will work autonomously on critical projects, helping clients implement information‑security standards and improve their overall cyber‑risk posture.

Key responsibilities

• Support projects related to information security and cybersecurity.
• Develop and run internal cyber‑awareness campaigns.
• Contribute to initiatives around security standards and frameworks such as ISO 20000‑1, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC Type 1/2, NIS2 and DORA.
• Draft and maintain security policies, processes and procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and support internal and external audits.
• Manage audit findings and coordinate action‑plan implementation.
• Assist in the creation and testing of Business Continuity Plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience implementing standards like ISO 20000, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or SOC Type 2.
• Strong analytical and methodological rigor.
• Excellent organization, priority‑management and autonomy.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
