Cash Collection Junior Specialist - French Speaker

About the role

Join Nestlé Business Services as a Cash Collection Junior Specialist, supporting the Order to Cash (O2C) department in Portugal. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending two days per week in the office, and will be responsible for managing due and overdue balances while ensuring timely payments from customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer and account queries to keep sales ledger balances clean.
• Manage due and overdue balances, aiming to maximize on‑time payments.
• Notify markets of uncollectable debt risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Execute collection activities according to the market collection strategy.
• Respond to collection concerns from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs, participate in daily operational reviews, and support root‑cause analysis.
• Implement business and internal controls for the collections process.
• Review and suggest updates to standard routines in response to legal or procedural changes.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of customer service orientation.
• Ability to propose and implement procedural improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
