Business Analyst (French Mandatory)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong French language skills to join KCS IT’s Lisbon hub. The role will involve working on IT and digital transformation projects for international clients, translating business needs into clear, actionable specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams by creating user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Produce and maintain models using BPMN or UML.
• Collaborate with development teams using Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and manage work items in JIRA, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
• Support testing and validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projects.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Experience with international or regulated‑sector projects (finance, insurance, healthcare).
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, IREB or Scrum Product Owner are a plus.

Required skills

• JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
• BPMN, UML.
• Agile methodologies – Scrum and Kanban.
• Understanding of SDLC and requirement‑management techniques (user stories, use cases, process flows, acceptance criteria).
