Backend Engineer (AWS CDK)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong expertise in AWS CDK to join our growing team in Portugal. You will design, develop and maintain server‑side applications that power our projects, working closely with product and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using AWS CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 and IAM.
• Write clean, scalable code in TypeScript and manage JSON data structures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor performance with Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Based in Portugal (Portuguese or EU citizenship or valid work permit).
